Yeah, I’m aware. I’m sure there will still be plenty to do and to eat, though!

Neil 🔜 Provincetown 10/1-4 @erotic-hypno.com · 8h

Mostly looking for a place to have an actual late breakfast/brunch (no entertainment expected), but Ptown doesn’t seem to have many of those.

Thanks! As for food, any recommendations for places for brunch?

Last workout before heading to Mates Leather weekend tomorrow! It’ll be my first time in Provincetown. Any recommendations for what I should see or do (besides the event itself)?

You know what would fix it, another dance party. Should focus your energy there. I have a ton of travel and I used to pay for your app so I can find hook ups. Everyone is fleeing your app and finding people sucks. #unsubscribe

I had a blast at @sebb-events.bsky.social! My classes went really well, and I met some awesome people! Also, I took a shibari harness class, and @seamusoreilly69.bsky.social and I got to practice tying rope harnesses on each other. It was great to see this hottie again!

It was such a great day with @hairyhypnotist.com and his husband! I’m glad we took some time off from exploring Amsterdam. It was great to deepen my friendship with @hairyhypnotist.com, and get to know his husband. Also, I got to learn a little Dutch from the husband!

For those wondering who the statue I’m posing with is, it’s the late, great Dalida. Here’s one of my favorite performances of hers: youtu.be/uIBnXRtyh24

I’ll be heading to Europe tomorrow night for a true vacation (honeymoon, actually)! I’ll be in Europe July 18-August 13, and would love to meet some locals socially in the cities I’ll be visiting, or get some fun recommendations. My full itinerary: www.erotic-hypno.com/newsblog/upc...

It’s a bug with the chat on browsers (both mobile and desktop). They are most definitely working on it, so no need to needle them further!

110

Neil 🔜 Provincetown 10/1-4 @erotic-hypno.com · 16/07/2026

The Hank team is absolutely fantastic! There’s just one stubborn bug they’ve been unable to fix. But once they do, I definitely plan to tell every kinkster I know about it (and will post here)!

100

Neil 🔜 Provincetown 10/1-4 @erotic-hypno.com · 15/07/2026

I’m on there! It’s amazing what two developers can do. It already has more features than Recon ever had! But there are still a lot of bugs, so I’m not encouraging people to get on it just yet.

210

Neil 🔜 Provincetown 10/1-4 @erotic-hypno.com · 15/07/2026

Yeah, it’s extremely disappointing and frustrating. They announced the new version over 3 years ago. They could have vibe-coded something much better in 3 weeks!

110

Neil 🔜 Provincetown 10/1-4 @erotic-hypno.com · 15/07/2026

If Recon ever gets their shit together, I’ll happily re-subscribe. But considering their responses to the criticism, I don’t see that happening any time soon. So I also see cancelling my membership as my vote of no confidence. Maybe if more users do that, they’ll start listening. 5/5

280

Neil 🔜 Provincetown 10/1-4 @erotic-hypno.com · 15/07/2026

So I really can’t justify spending money on Recon Premium, and cancelled my membership. I’ll still keep my profile on there, but I’ll be online much less often. 4/5

120

Neil 🔜 Provincetown 10/1-4 @erotic-hypno.com · 15/07/2026

And then there are the bugs, which are too numerous to list, but they include basic things like inconsistent notifications, chats disappearing, messages not getting sent, and stuck badges. 3/5

120

Neil 🔜 Provincetown 10/1-4 @erotic-hypno.com · 15/07/2026

The new version that was released a few weeks ago is, unfortunately, unusable. While the UI isn’t great, I could probably get used to it. But so many features from the old Recon are just completely missing. And the only new feature added makes life easy for stalkers to locate their prey. 2/5

130

Neil 🔜 Provincetown 10/1-4 @erotic-hypno.com · 15/07/2026

I’ve been on @reconnews.bsky.social for 20(!) years, and met some awesome kinksters on there. For most of that time, I had a paid Premium membership. The website had always been usable (but not spectacular), and the app wasn’t the best, but was still usable in a pinch. 1/5
