A new bill to add to your list when you call your Senators to dissent against the rash of "child protection" bills poisoning our country. The "TOTAL Screen Time Act" takes a page straight from the authoritarian playbook and seeks to implement device-level surveillance to monitor your activity.

It's up now ☺️. Their CDN was acting up I guess.

KOSA is trending on that other site, or what I like to call the PVP zone. Keep it up.

Your most recent permanent address is fine 👍, as long as it's within the state that the senator represents.

Look up your senators at www.senate.gov/senators/sen.... You may contact both for your state. Tell them you oppose S.1748 (KOSA), as well as the KIDS Act and other unconstitutional mass surveillance bills that directly violate your 1st and 4th amendment rights. (2/2)

🚨 KOSA UPDATE The added "duty of care" standard would force websites to identify minors to avoid legal risk, pushing the internet toward ID checks, facial scans, mass age-gating, excessive data collection and censorship FOR EVERYONE. Next comes a full Senate vote. Contact your senators NOW. (1/2)

New Yorkers: it's your turn. Call your representatives and demand they put an end to these unconstitutional regulations that directly violate your 1st and 4th amendments. reclaimthenet.org/new-york-wil...

Correct, it's bipartisan in all countries. When this is the case, it's usually due to $$$. Companies will massively benefit from this by having open access to mass harvest data, and politicians directly benefit from the lobbying.

That's no problem, you can still call if you live with family members, even if you aren't head of household. You simply must live at your residential address within a state to be considered a constituent.

The literal Russian censorship playbook is being forced upon you by both US political parties and those in power in the EU because it's been proven to work. The only thing in their way is you. You must make them fear you. (2/2)

In 2013 Russia passed the "Law for the Purpose of Protecting Children from Information Advocating a Denial of Traditional Family Values" to censor content they considered "harmful". Sound familiar? This extends far beyond "adult" content. (1/2)

This will be the US if the SCREEN Act passes. Call your Senators before August 5 and tell them that you oppose the SCREEN Act, KOSA, and the KIDS Act. Use the official lookup tool at www.senate.gov/senators/sen... to find yours by state.

The Senate Commerce Committee is set to consider S. 737, the SCREEN Act, on AUGUST 5. It's a sweeping age-verification bill that requires online services to verify users’ ages before they can access adult content. Please contact your Senators TODAY. (202) 224-3121 www.eff.org/deeplinks/20...

The term they will use for anything they disagree with is "harmful". It's going into all the new legislation. So yeah, totally plausible. Any idea they dislike, whether it's adult content or not.

Missouri residents, we need your help. Please call your representatives and give them hell. They are unconstitutionally selling out your privacy in the name of "protecting the children". See link for details. reclaimthenet.org/missouri-age...

Yeah, absolutely can't take it at face value. Our take is it's potentially a sign he recognizes the overwhelming unpopularity of the agenda - or at least the Digital ID part.

Potential victory in the UK! The new prime minister claims to see Digital ID for what it is: an "expensive government scheme" - a huge drain on resources that does not provide tangible benefits. Good start. Time to repeal the disastrous Online Safety Act.

Hypocrites. None of these bad faith politicians - from any country - represent free speech. Anyone who supports age verification hates free expression, and governments are showing they will illegally trample upon it for those they have no authority over. (2/2)

Texas Court Orders Adult Site Domain Locked for AV Violations

Pro-age verification politicians in Texas have illegally locked the domain of a Costa Rican adult website over age verification and claim it's a victory, but will then assert the British have no authority to do this in America as it violates American free speech. (1/2) www.xbiz.com/news/299218/...

They're building a digital prison and most people don't even know it. Your art, your free expression, your dissent. Literally anything they find objectionable they want to label as "obscene" and debank and imprison you for.

Online safety = PRIVACY. The UK government just admitted this when ruling not to restrict VPNs. Then why are they and other governments willing to sacrifice privacy on the altar of age verification? Could it be that online safety was never the goal?

We suggest reading some of the lunacy on the propaganda accounts pushing age verification on twitter right now. It's very enlightening. They are very clearly trying to paint any modern concepts they find objectionable as "obscene" so they can silence it via mass surveillance legislation.
