I'm convinced almost all the people engaging with my replies and such about this trend are in fact trying to ragebait me. They just come off so insincere. Literally it is shit like "C'mon man who cares she's hot!" or, "but the story is so good!" or, "it's just a silly name it's not that deep".

In my experience they also often intake lots of local workers who are untrained and/or uneducated but like video games, doing the usual spin of working for their "passion" for video games and what not.

That's fair but I'm just saying game QA is largely an exploitative industry. And to be clear I'm also not advocating at all for the overall labor replacement that genAI is committing in all industries. I do however have small personal gripes with the game industry and how it has exploited friends.

As someone somewhat familiar with the way game studio QA works (had many colleagues from that line of work) maybe that's a good thing? They often present QA as a way to get your foot in the door in game dev but realistically they do not want you just your man-hours.

I actually don't think she would hate a "girl" version of her characters, unless you specifically made them trans. This art trend is genderbend, not trans, and so I think she wouldn't care at all. She might even like it, if not for the also misogynistic framing of it, what with the "foid" term.

Just an FYI, because I'm learning about this in real time too, the art trend is very likely created with ill intent by chuds and incels and you should probably avoid it, regardless of the franchise attached. "Foid" is apparently a derogatory term for women, made by incels. So "Malfoid" is an insult
