I've been thinking ALOT about They Called Us Enemy by George Takei in collaboration with Eisinger, Scott & Becker It's a graphic novel memoir about Takei's childhood growing up in Japanese American internment camps An absolutely essential read for right now #diversebooksky #graphicnovelsky

I'm really in my non-fiction era rn, I'm currently reading my 3rd this month! The Science Of Racism by Keon West is about gathering scientific data showing when & where racism occurs There's actually a huge amount of evidence across a wide variety of study areas #diversebooksky #booksky
Photograph of the book The Science Of Racism: everything you need to know but probably don't - yet by Keon West laying on a dark blue fluffy blanket. The cover is entirely white with text in the centre stating the title. The text is in sans serif font across four lines and each word is a different colour representing skin tones ranging from pale to dark and mostly blurred apart from within the confines of an unlined circle where the text is in focus and all In black as if being seen through a microscope lens. The author's name is written in dark brown text at the bottom left corner
