I like to think of Solas as a fallen paragon, willing to do anything to achieve his goal. My Rook doesn’t approve of this approach, so one day he might challenge the Dread Wolf and pay for it. What would Lucanis, who loves Rie with all his soul, feel when seeing Solas force Rie to take his own life?

But I must admit — this game gives me a burst of inspiration. Some old stories about my previous main characters, some love for the lore, and some soul from DATV itself mix into a warm feeling of nostalgia. Dragon Age still feels like home, even after all these hard times.

I really like the story of my Rook. A young elf from the Veil Jumpers, full of curiosity and emotions, who almost broke under the weight of responsibility. Unfortunately, this story has mostly only existed in my head, not in the game. Sadly, I don’t feel a strong enough connection with the party.

DATV has mostly become a difficult relationship for me this year. Sometimes it make me laugh or feel something deep, but I still cannot find the right word to describe the rest of my feelings. In the artbook, I see so many beautiful ideas and concepts, but they didn’t make it into the final product.
