I get that there is an intranet way for interested parties to view an execution. That is different from an internet livestreamed event. Why is no one asking about who is hosting this, platforming it, and how it would be distributed?

Isn't the other analysis specifically of AfD supporters? Couldn't people posting about the drop in activity from those supporters account for some of this? I don't see how using a term is the same as affirming the ideology. Anti-trans folks don't post "trans" in all their posts.

In this case Dems not treating illegal behavior as illegal is probably the problem. You do in fact have to manufacture consent to lock up bad guys. But locking up bad guys in upper classes who are white is hard. Dems don't like difficult things.

Yeah, the move would be to withhold some kind of federal funds unless states adopt stronger guidelines and enforcement with a certain (low) minimum for all amusement parks, fairgrounds, tour buses and boats. I'm worried because CSPB is already overeextended, and Congress is anti new regulatory body. Federalism is good. SCOTUS is unlikely under most courts to allow the Fed to force states to change regs other than by withholding federal funds. Dem leadership is too conservative to go for that.

Most rollercoaster accidents are at fairs or small local or travelling parks, though. Deaths on coasters at large amusement parks are fairly rare, if not rare enough to justify their lobby having that much power.

In fairness, I liked the 2001 Alley Theatre production with Elizabeth Ashley, Anne Dudek, and Grant Show as the gentleman caller. Don't need to see it again, though.

RJ Mitte was a fierce advocate for disability justice. He had cerebral palsy and his disability was a central part of his character on Breaking Bad. Despite the shows success, Mitte lost most of his earnings due to an unscrupulous business manager. The “crip tax” is real.

I might have an answer for this one. Might. In the US, going all the way back to silent film, getting the exact period appropriate railway car has been a pain. Especially anything older than 30 to 40 years. This is WWII set in the UK. My guess is the 2026 options were slim.

California never was the progressive haven people made it out to be. They had a Republican governor as recent as 2009, and privatization and flat or poor taxes are still the norm. Plus it's an oligarchy. Has been for at least a few decades. This is absolutely a culture thing.
