Excited to share that the final chapter of my PhD has been published in Science Advances. We show that large post-earthquake debris flows in Wenchuan are more frequent than expected due to the large volumes of sediment stored in channels. 🏔️ www.science.org/doi/10.1126/... #landslides

A PhD student applied the ecological concept of alternate states to river corridors in the Colorado Rocky Mountains that have old-growth vs managed floodplain forest. She found substantial differences in geomorphic & ecological characteristics and we were excited about the study. #ESPLMemoriesAt50

Great few days at #Geomandu catching up with some of the #SajagNepal team, presenting our research on the spatial and temporal evolution of landslides on a national and earthquake scale. We also visited one of the communities most affected by the recent floods in September.
