Arguably one of Jimmy Carter's greatest achievement is bringing the world to the brink of eradicating the Guinea Worm. From 3.5m cases a year in the 80s to less than 15 the last few years. It's an astounding public health achievement.

The mainstream doesn’t represent true culture. Hip-hop’s battle mentality was about training people on a micro level against macro power. Bluesky feels fresh like a utopian wormhole (I haven’t loved a platform this much since MySpace). Twitter’s soul-crushing darkness, on the other hand, has always drawn me in. The thing is, Elon ruined its realness with bots and ads. He completely wrecked it.
