A very nice rom-com. The age difference between the two leads didn't bother me as much as I expected, probably due to Regé-Jean Page *not* looking 38. Like, at all. The Tuscan scenery was gorgeous, and worth the price of admission alone. Halle Bailey's charm allowed her to make her character's less-than-flattering traits less obnoxious. I wanted more of Marco Calvani as the taxi driver, though.

Except that’s a total lie because it’s the same plane that was shown in the Air Canada app and we’d been at the gate for over an hour with the plane sitting right there and when this notification came through the plane didn’t go anywhere and a 20 min delay wouldn’t be enough to change a whole plane.

And on *this* day in 2014, I was introduced to the absurdity of workforce breakfasts, worked the men's hockey practices interviewing players, and watched with amazement as all of my Russian colleagues absolutely lost their shit whenever Putin appeared on TV in the dining hall.
