So on our way from Amtrak to BART we took a free Emeryville shuttle that passed right infront of Pixar! Best way to save on an uber.

The entrance to the Pixar studio in Emeryville on a clear sunny day. 2 lanes in either directions with a middle security house thing and trees surrounding and blocking view of everything but the iron sign overhead on brick pillars.

And return journey done! Train came all the way from Chicago, and master is tempted to take it to MFF now. Time flew, it barely felt like 3 hours and driving feels like 9 which is so much longer especially with traffic. Also our train was like 30 mins ahead of schedule!

Spotted a new bird in the creek! According to the Siridex it’s a black crowned night heron. Spotted the usual ducks and egrets, no geese tho, the flocks like to stop off where the creek gets clearer (of plants) and more concrete-y.

It is really good, I think I saw wing first but enjoyed OG more. Which there is a lot of (it’s the dark red line towards the top). It is annoying how not everything is subbed. ZZ is only subbed but UC is dubbed so now I got this huge gap.

Considering tomorrow I decided to try an experiment with an old pup hood, a ponytail hole. I do need to mod my new hood with eyeglasses holes at least but a ponytail hole? Give something for master to grab while I’m “downtown” lol I should look up how to finish the holes. Quick google says aquaseal?

So decided to do a quick comparison between my iPhone 18 pro and our Canon 6D MKii. Quick and dirty comparison used stock setting and did try and punch in some quick edits to help equalize some shadow/highlights things that were going on. Can you tell which is which?

So anyway I went out and grabbed those airship pics, you can see the ridges! So cool to see it floating out there. Apparently a helicopter was near (probably testing aerodynamic stuff) I couldn’t see at all next to that behemoth.
