Bates was shaky in the preseason but has been solid in the regular season when it counts.

Gotta saw, some pretty good pass blocking/blitz pick ups so far from Vaki. He is tough in there....

Thank you for re-posting this past article, was not familiar with it & reading it today seems it turned out to be quite the prediction of what has now happened in Trump 2.0, sadly. Please keep up your amazing and insightful writing, hoping for a better future for us all after this tumultuous time.

Seeing ex-Lion Roy Lopez make the AZ pick of Kaleb Proctor hurts a little bit more, liked Proctor as a fit for the Lions....but still some good players to choose from as the 4th rd. kicks off.

Hearing and reading so much about AI but not knowing very much about it, I found this New Yorker article about Anthropic and Claude to be very helpful in getting a good idea of what really is going on in the whole AI evolution...both interesting and unnerving all at once. Very much worth the read.

Hey Lion's fans, Tyler Dunne is a great read with his in depth articles and this is a great one (among many of his) on AQM on the eve of tonight's Monday night game vs. Tampa Bay. Read it and hopefully enjoy a great AQM play later tonight even more....

Can't get called up from the PS and get a penalty on ST, not smart by Rice on that KO. Have the Bears down, keep them there.

"When I'm President I can let you know in advance when I'll announce bigly tariffs, see, then you set up options & shorts before hand, market drops...then tell you right before I will take most of them off, we'll clean up!" "That's insider trading and illegal sir" "Not when the President does it."

I wrote this 6 days ago....and still wondering who Trump told to short everything to just call off a lot (but not all) tariff bat shit crazy stuff. Guess I have less then 90 days to brush up on options trading and how to short stock. Wonder if there is a Signal chat with all the inside info?

Like that the MNF broadcast is shedding some positive light on Sheila Hamp Ford....and Chris Speilman.

Love my Lions but feel I'm watching the movie "The Replacements" with the guys Detroit is playing with on defense.

Regardless this is a really fucking good and fun game, ups and downs, what football should be......win or lose, fight and apply pressure on the other team...

Lion's played a good 1st half, O had good time of possession and scored at end of half. Still 30 minutes to go and hope O can keep scoring to take pressure off D and get the win but D is thin with players out. 30 minutes, 10 pts. up, drag them to the deep water and drown them in time of possession.

I've been a Detroit Lions fan since 1980, plenty of ups & mostly downs. What I like most about this team & franchise now is top to bottom capable people working hard to win games, straight shooting coaching staff & players, no b.s. tolerated. Also first year ever I haven't looked at a mock draft...

Loving how well I can follow NFL action in real time, especially my Detroit Lions. Pretty clean so far on this site, hope it can stay mostly this way....and Lions keep being so fun to watch.

Created this awhile back when you had to wait to be invited, figured eventually Elonia would F-up Twitter....seems the bell is finally ringing on that. Hope to be here and Threads more often. Key is wanting fun engagement during live sports, like a Lions game or Sunday Night Football, College, etc..
