Adventures in Vietnam. Well… The day before my visa expired, the company I'm working with suddenly realized I'm going to leave. Their director is now ferrying me to Cambodia so I can leave and re-enter to get a new visa. As screwy as it sounds, I've done this […] [Original post on mastodon.social]

Caught my eye in Vietnam: * Did you know they make raincoats for motorbikes? They're everywhere here. Many styles, but they all cover you and the handlebars. * If you go to some restaurants, you can't buy regular tea. It's tourist tea. I ordered "Lipton Tea" […] [Original post on mastodon.social]

This is one of the cheap ones that's clear plastic and doesn't look like a raincoat. It's basically a 6'x8' tarp with a head hole (and integral hood) in the middle. The rider is sitting on the back half and has the front half over the handlebars.Looking at the bottom half of my glass of tea. It's full of different fruits and vegetables and has strips of what must be shoe leather -- because no amount of chewing does anything to them.

A grass covered open meadow surrounded by leafless trees.A woodland. There's no visible path, but that's the way I'm headed. There are a few tree trunks from fallen trees.A dirt path angling up the side of a hill.A dirt path going through a rocky woodland. The trees have no leaves, but there's lots of green grass, ferns, and moss.

Out for a walk with my wife. Two miles on the local bike trail that parallels a creek. We don't speed walk, there are too many things to look at!
A pair of ducks, one male, one female.A bird of prey high up in a tree. A gray squirrel on a tree branch. It's somewhat obscured by branches. My wife on the trail
