Many of them are poor, and know they are screwed by the system. trump promised to blow up the system, and they took a chance. They got burned. We need to convince them the system IS screwed up, but we have actual plans on making things better!

The poor in this country have been so totally screwed that many of them voted for trump because he said he would change things. Sure, some are racist pigs, but many are simply looking for a way out. If we offer them a better choice then we could capture them to our side. Let's not shame them.

I love Talarico, but he is young and new to politics, heading to the Senate, which is a BIG job. Give him 2-10 years to tangle with lawmakers and the bureaucracy. I'm looking to either Jon Ossoff or Pete Buttigieg to take the lead for 2028. Either one could pull James along as VP!

A responsible government would be cutting checks to build out EV infrastructure NOW & issuing refunds of $10,000 per EV purchased. Also putting up windfarms & assisting companies setting up solar farms & batteries. Like Europe did in 2022 when Russia invaded Ukraine & they wanted to cut oil use.

It would be a shame of some of those gas stations were targeted by drone attacks while drivers queued up to fill up their cars! Just about anything becomes a legitimate target within Russia because of their unjust invasion of Ukraine.

Serious answer: compare this election to 1930. Herbert Hoover refused to sign any bills, but retained the $ in the treasury. He refused to help anyone, but he signed the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act, making things worse until 1932 when FDR won by a landslide. We are very closely matching 1930!

I frequently see plates from other states here in California, a state where you can drive for days without leaving the state. I usually assume they are a$$hole Republicans who live here, but refuse to pay the price.

We used Silver Dollars. Kind of unusual, larger than "normal" coins, but still special. But that was 15-20 years ago.

You are right, Republicans have torpedoed all these measures that would have saved us. They turned a booming economy into a Recession. But if we vote well, after November we will have a strong Congress that can override him and pass measures we need to get through this.

Western Europe faced a similar crisis when Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022. They quickly ramped up incentives to install Heat Pumps, Solar Panels, and battery backups. Within two years they became close to self sufficient. We can do the same.

Disclaimer: I work for KP. I also get care from KP, though, and for the most part I like the care I get. I'd like to know how these efforts would affect my care. Frankly I like how KP has no Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) companies getting in the way. I think PBMs are the worst part of the system!

I have no power, but the original plan for DHS was already too big. It has gotten worse since then. We controlled immigration before ICE existed, and we can do it again after we defund and close ICE. No domestic terrorists on American streets!
