25. The book of Random Tables: Modern. I love random tables for #ttrpg they are a great source of inspiration. You can roll or pick something fhat attracts you. I got thins to inspire me for a Mutants in the now game that I ran. It can be used for any games set in contemporary times.

24. 2024 Quest Calendar #ttrpg it’s a day calendar with an ongoing campaign. Each day takes about 5-10 min to play. @mryddian.bsky.social & I played it in 2024. It was fun but after a while it got repetitive. We need to finish it as we left off in December.

18. Traveller (Mongoose 1st edition). This is a great sci-fi #ttrpg i’m running the 2nd edition in a space sector that I created. Rules are simple & modular. Plus, it is diagetic where game traits can be referred by the characters.

12. An Infinity of Ships is a great resource for space sci-fi #ttrpg i plan to use it for my current Traveller campaign. Lots of tables to describe & name ships. Many of them are silly & weird which pleases me.

8. D&D 4th edition is my favourite edition of D&D. I tried them all. I love how each classes plays differently even though they read the same. Currently, I have a pixie party campaign which is fun. #ttrpg

7. I love superheroes & Sentinel Comics #ttrpg is a wonderful one. The pacing of the game gets the vibe of superheroes really well. It’s based on the Sentinels of the Multiverse game but you can use it for any supers.

6. I played Jiangshi: Blood in the Banquet Halll for last Halloween. It’s a fun #ttrpg of Chinese-American (or Chinese-Canadian) family who manage a restaurant by day & fight hopping vampires by night. Integrates both very well.

I still have my first #ttrpg TMNT & Other Strangeness. I learned to GM using that system while babysitting at a teen (over 35 years ago). I got it signed by Kevin Eastman, one creator of TMNT. I have nostalgic feelings for it.

On Friday, I played Call of Catthulhu in my goal to try unplayed games on my shelf. @mryddian.bsky.social chose this game. The intro scenario was simple & rules are light which is great. It allows the rules not get in the way of playing cats. Normal cats dealing with cosmic horror. #ttrpg

This afternoon, I contined my play of koriko: A Magical Year. It’s a solo #ttrpg inspired by Kiki’s delivery service. I finished chapter 5 of 7 which is Autumn. I love Kiki’s Delivery Service & the game does a wonderful job of evoking that vibe. :)
