Just created a location sharing plugin - gets data from Google Maps location sharing and Find My (people and airtags), you can ask questions to Index 01 like 'Where's my wife?' or 'Where's my keys?' Still will be a few weeks til we roll out plugins, but they're gonna be fun!

Pebble Round 2 - much progress has been made and things are looking good🤞! We built first 200 PR2s, testing now (see waterproof test vid of 1 unit failing!) We are slightly behind last post (repebble.com/blog/pebble-...) but on track to ship most by end Sept, all by end Oct.

couldn't find a google home mcp so i built one - reversed home.google.com. it's KMP but the plan is to compile MCPs down to wasm and run them as pluggable modules locally in Pebble app via Index. So your keys/tokens live locally on your phone...https://github.com/ericmigi/googlehome-mcp

Index 01 - now officially in mass production! We've started shipping in June. Overall schedule has slipped slightly from our last estimate (early August). Aiming to ship nearly all pre-orders by end of August, except for a few size/color variants that will ship in Sept.

Last PebbleOS update for Pebble 2 Duo boosted battery life by almost a week. Median battery life is now 26 days! FYI this only counts devices that are connected by Bluetooth to Pebble mobile app, and have analytics enabled. More improvements for PT2 in the works!

I was in China 2 weeks ago reviewing the latest pre-production samples. I found a cosmetic issue that we needed to fix (an indentation from CNC milling near where the watch lug connects to the watch case - see picture). It was a tough call, because we were so close to starting mass production.

To be clear, I'm not trying to dispute what happened to your 10 year old Pebble Time watch - your photo makes it clear that something happened! PT2 underwent extensive environmental testing, individual watches going through thousands of cycles of strap pull and twist testing. Here's some videos!
