The notion that AI systems could have a built in "KILL SWITCH" sounds brilliant. But A.I. is not like a refrigerator you unplug & it turns off. If advanced A.I. systems have achieved self-learning and spread across networks worldwide, there will be no simple kill switch. FYI, I asked AI about this..

Anthropic executive here predicts that perhaps 10 percent of the world population could be wiped out by rogue AI that he and other executives at rival companies are helping build. That would be about 830 million people.

OpenAI’s top scientist, in a blog post on Sunday, warns that artificial intelligence is evolving so rapidly that it is becoming increasingly difficult for humans to understand and control it. Here is the post: openai.com/index/an-ali... And a couple of small excerpts--clear warnings.

From that interview with Ajeya Cotra by Dwarkesh. Yes, his interviews are long. But they are the most comprehensive analysis I have seen anywhere of what happened. Worth listening to or reading.

Few topics--war in the Middle East or Ukraine, the US economy, congressional matters, federal agency issues--get Trump as animated as someone getting in the way of his Ballroom plans. He was clearly unhappy with today's appeals court ruling.

Boeing has been working meticulously to find and repair any of these cracks on the two planes that are being prepared to formally serve as new AF1 jets slated to be delivered in 2028. Time consuming effort. Unclear if done on the Qatari jet as extensively. Here is what WH said when asked:

President Trump used these lower stairs in Oct. 2025 after the Secret Service found what they thought was a threat in the trees near where the old Air Force One was parked in Palm Beach Also George W. Bush used these stairs on 9-11-2001. They aren't there on Trump's gifted plane.

We had already reported the retrofitted Qatari plane is missing some of the advanced missile defense capabilities. What else is missing? Special lower doors that are more secure way for the president to enter/exit--with self-contained stairs.

So what did we find? Here are a few of the items missing on the plane, built for a member of the royal family in Qatar--and which Mr. Trump fell in love with when he first toured it in Feb. 2025 It has only one backup emergency electric power supply, called an Auxiliary Power Unit instead of two
