I caught this girl to get TNRed before realizing her tiny clip. Eventually caught her again to find her a home when she started to show some signs for friendliness, but I would have preferred to not have gone through the hectic catching and vet the first go round had I been able to see the clip.

When my ol girl Maggie had her extractions, they decided to keep her canines forward since her stomatitis presented as ulcers along the backside of the mouth. She lived for about 15 years afterward, but ended up needing one of the canines removed after an infection.

Soft collars really are the best, especially if they need to wear them for any extended amount of time. Natalie still can’t figure out how to get in the litter box with her watermelon on, but she can do anything else she normally does.

Started off watching some of the shorts as a part of the #OscarsDeathRace with Incident. A bit chaotic (but well edited), like its story, but heartbreaking and downright dystopian. The cries from the community as their neighbor lay dying in the street by a murder in uniform will stick with me.

My phone just shared this memory with me. This was Maggie, aged 21, whose final Christmas was last year. She held on like a trooper til January. I miss her and love her so much.
