NISAR global L-band provisional data products are now released in the NASA EarthData repository, accessible from the ASF and EarthData search. NISAR L-band data acquired on June 17, 2026 and later available as level 0 through level 2 and level 3 products. nisar-docs.asf.alaska.edu/availability...
Global map of NISAR L-band data coverage. All land up to 77 degrees north latitude is covered, shown by a green color on the map. Some areas of ocean adjacent to land are also included.

NISAR surface displacement map of Venezuela is the NASA Earth Observatory Image of the Day today. Map shows earthquake displacement on land is largest north of Caracas, so fault slip at depth on offshore fault greater. Fault went through Catia La Mar next to airport. science.nasa.gov/earth/earth-...
Map of north central Venezuela with surface displacements due to large earthquake shown with color. Coast from Morón east past Caracas moved as much as 60 cm west (blue tones) due to slip on fault offshore. Red tones show eastward displacement north of the fault near Morón and in Catia La Mar of the La Guaira coastal state.

NASA-ISRO SAR (NISAR) satellite imaged Venezuela June 25. NISAR SAR interferometry (InSAR) enabled calculation of surface displacement. Displacements have red tones for east and blue tones for west, with white in middle near-zero over fault rupture. Fault ruptured far to east under ocean. #venezuela
Map of north-central Venezuela with NISAR line-of-sight displacement map shown in false color varying from red to white to blue. Red land moved east (towards satellite) and blue land moved west. InSAR only measures land, so ocean and lakes have no measurements. Background map from Google satellite natural-color images on land and bathymetry in ocean.
