Atari 400. With a tape deck to load games/programs (alongside the built-in cartridge) which took an interminable length of time to load (if you’re an excited kid). The game I remember best was called Archon and played similar to chess but with actual combat when pieces met.

I’ve been mountain biking since the mid-90s and this is the first time I’ve ever done lift-serv. Missoula’s Snow Bowl delivered a fun (smoky) afternoon. Maybe next year, I’ll explore more lift-service next summer.

50 for 50 ride 3: short spur trail down to Poe Meadows off the main Rattlesnake corridor. Short but surprisingly fun, esp on a gravel bike. I’ve got to count it b/c I’ve ridden the Ratt so many times over the last 2x decades and haven’t ever tried it. Kind of embarrassing to admit.

Second 50 for 50 (50450?) ride: the climb up University Mountain Road in Missoula. I’d seen this line on maps, but never explored it. Steep with beautiful views. Rode to the snow and had to turn back before the Beacon Trail. Next time.
