Nine years ago today Huck and I went on the safest walk imaginable. Cannon was a once in a lifetime dog who showed up when the kids were small. I rarely leashed him, he’d stay within a few feet of Huck and Edie anywhere we went. He was a consummate gentleman and babysitter. #germanshepherd

Here’s a verse of a song I’ve been working on… kind of like this line.. Case was full of tumbled stones. Patch on his corduroy jeans was worn. We ran awhile by the old dog fence and I never felt happier. Never felt lonelier. #songwriter
