Back then we didn't have much. Life was hard, work was dangerous and times were tough. But my God at least we had each other - the country was united. In my lifetime that has been thoroughly lost.

He was very small and then he was very big. He is a cuddly teddy bear who loves being carried around unleashing his expansive and rumbling loud purr. He terrorised our little tabby and she’s going to be delighted he’ll be soon gone. Us less so.

We rescued an owl from the side of the road on Friday - it’s had been stunned by a car. Kept her in a box in the office overnight before we could deliver her to the Toulouse vet school. Our cat Tatou was OUTRAGED to be locked out for a night and a day…
