iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

For clarity, I only represent age categories MG and up. For MG & YA I’m open to all genres fiction and nonfiction. On the adult side I only work on genre-adjacent or genre-lite fiction (no straight contemporary or anything that wades too deeply into the genre space). #MSWL

Hi Bluesky, and happy #MSWL Day! My up-to-date #MSWL can always be found on Instagram (www.instagram.com/p/DS2tRNrjmx...), but here are some specifics…

My annual query inbox wrapped is up on Instagram. I’m a simple gal who loves data analysis, and hopefully this look at the numbers is helpful to writers. #querying

I also have a more detailed list on manuscriptwishlist.com, and update my instagram #mswl highlight reel with things that pop up throughout the year.

Hello 2026! As we get closer to the new year—and my query inbox reopening—it’s time for me to update what I’m looking for. I saw a lot of fabulous projects in 2025 (but more on that later), and I’m excited about what I might find in 2026. #mswl

Posting this before my inbox reopens in January. I’m planning to close my query inbox for February & March 2026–I know that it’s going to be a busy time for me, and it’s better that I take those months to try to catch up. So, after January, my inbox will reopen in April. #literaryagent #queryupdate

A long overdue #queryupdate: I am nearly caught up! Many thanks again to all the authors who have had to be patient while I read. At this point, if you’ve sent a query in Apr-June and haven’t heard back, you’re in my maybe pile.

Meanwhile, over on instagram, I’m trolling my cat: www.instagram.com/ericabaumanb...

#queryupdate: unfortunately, I’ve decided to keep my query inbox closed for October. While I made a significant dent in my TBR pile, it wasn’t as much as I hoped & it would be a disservice to those writers who are patiently waiting for a response to reopen now. I aim to reopen in November. #querying

Quick August #QueryUpdate: still chipping away at the submission pile. I’m always endeavoring to be faster and more efficient, but I’m also only one person. I do respond to every submission so, if you haven’t heard back yet, it’s still in the queue. #literaryagent #publishing

Very excited to work with Michelle! Her fantasy reinterpretation of Jane Austen’s Emma puts overlooked Jane Fairfax in the spotlight as she deals with an unexpected pregnancy, a flakey secret fiancé, and a society that limits her ability to profit from her magic. This book is swoony + magical!

Just an early heads up: I’ll be closed to queries this August and September to give me time to catch up. Other than that, my inbox will be open the first week of each month as usual. #amagenting #queryupdate #queries

I posted this over on my insta, but want to share a #queryupdate: unfortunately I didn’t make as much headway in March as I had hoped (and there’s still a number of December queries I have to read and respond to 😓). So, still a bit behind but eager to get back to everyone! #queries #literaryagent

Happy New Year! I’m starting 2025 on a high by welcoming RuthAnne to Team ACM! Her romance novel, PANTS ON FIRE, is a fun modern riff on the 90s classic Liar Liar, and is so funny and smart and loaded with chemistry—I couldn’t put it down. I’m so excited to work together! #amagenting #newclient

…and (even with the QM shutdown) I’m hoping to get back to everyone by the end of the year. So, if you haven’t heard from me yet, thank you for your patience! As for 2025, here’s an updated #MSWL of what I’d love to see in the inbox. Looking forward to some exciting projects next year!

🎵It’s TIIIIIIIME! 🎶 I saw a lot of incredible queries in 2024, and my experiment of opening my inbox one week a month worked out well. I was able to stay on top of my inbox and meet my personal goal of getting my response times waaaaaay down. That said, I’m still going through Sept-Dec queries…
