anyway imo triple lock (introduced by coalition, newer than OBR) exists not to protect pensioners but to cut the link between them and the working population. link pension increases to wage growth only, so we all want the same thing, with further benefits available to protect against poverty.

basically I think inheritance tax should be reformed in such a way that most people who inherit anything above a few thousand and possessions it would be difficult to value anyway pay *something* and it is made extremely unattractive to rent out an inherited house
