Tokyo iroiro 4 random things (is a skyline a "thing"?) Tokyo has to offer. -Meguro Sky Garden. -Shin-Ohashi bridge. -An old house (probably more of those around). -Picture with more of those around (probably). #Photography #CityPhotography #CityScape #Urban #Tokyo #Japan #SkyTree

Photo of a park atop a concrete structure with a city skyline and light cloud cover behind it. A metal encased staircase leads to the park from the left.

Photo of a bridge with a skyline behind it at night. A highway is raised and fill the left edge. With a paved walkway at the bottom next to a river. A large tower with many lights is visible in the back to the right of the bridge.

Photo of an old house at a corner of a road with large more modern buildings surrounding it.

Photo of Tokyo skyline with dark clouds above throwing shade at some skyscrapers.

Made a silly sticker to slap on slop. Feel free to share and use! (Link to transparent version in comments)

Colorful sticker graphic showing Steve Urkle shrugging, with cartoony text saying "Did AI do that?"

Cool. Got an example of a thing that can be put on the list then?

That is a good show! And these are pretty nice too! Are they 3D with a pencil drawing filter of some kind over them?

The ocean! And a small fjord. Featuring less normal Norwegian summer weather, but some of the normal one too. #Photography #Nature #Mountain #Fjord #Ocean #Islands #Lovund #Træna (barely visible) #Sjona #Handnesøy #Norway

Panorama photo of a fjord opening up to the open ocean taking up most of the middle and the left part of the image. The left side has clouds that open up to clear blue sky. Close up on the ground to the left are thick green bushes that hides parts of a island in the distance. In the opening to the ocean you can see a dramatic island in the center far away. Some other islands are barely visible in the haze. The right parts of the image is of bare mountains draped in clouds and shadows.

Photo of a fjord with dramatic clouds and mountains with greenery at the bottom that frames the water of the fjord in the center.

A photo of a closeup of the dramatic island in the center far away from the panorama; a tall and hat shaped mountain extruding from a main island with many small and flat islands around it in haze, cloud cover is sparse but with full clouds.

"Slop": Low effort content / AI-stuff. "Slopslop". Used on people using the word "slop" too much. "Slopslopslop": Used on people using the word "slopslop" too much. "Slopslopslo... No, before it gets any worse; a solution: "Slopn" (or Slopⁿ): Used on content whose primary subject is slopⁿ⁻¹.

A collection of some boulders I came across. Featuring normal Norwegian summer weather. #Photography #Nature #mountain #boulders #Reference #materialreference #Norway

Iv'e been told photos didn't show up on the mobile app, so THIS IS JUST A TEST to see if they are shown if there are 4 pictures instead of 5 that seems to do something weird:

Photograph of the center of a straight road with corn fields on both sides, yet the left side has some trees sticking out of the fog, the road goes into low laying fog in the distance, so the densely cloudy sky is visible.

Photograph of a rural farmland and road landscape taken in the early morning with spotty low laying fog draping the various objects like trees, road bridges and hills. The sky is visible, with vivid blues and bright red colors through spotty clouds.

Photograph of a corn field and some trees in low fog, a speck of semi clear sky is visible between the low fog and low laying thicker clouds on a morning sky.

Close up photograph of a corn field disappearing into low laying fog. Pieces of the blue sky is visible through the top layer of the fog. Slightly visible ghostly trees can barely be seen through the fog on the other side of the corn field.

Toying some more with Apophysis. A supernova/nebula, this time a bit more up close than last time. And I made it purple, because I haven't really done much with that color yet and it is a pretty groovy color. #Apophysis #Fractal #Art #Digital-Art #SpaceArt #Nebula #Stars #Purple

Felt a bit like the rebels advancing towards the shield generator on Endor... But with less Ewoks. Oh, and without the goal of blowing it up. #Photography #Nature #Forest #Hill #Antenna #Brumunddal #Norway

It is great to see the evolution of Blender into a broader tool! I am always looking for things to replace AE with for... reasons... It is scary to start anew, especially since I know my way around AE, but not Blender. But you say it is quicker? Then a try shall be made!

Oh yes, that is a nice place. Went there in 2023 before I had my good camera™. Still, the details in that place is plentiful, like on the railings in the entire entryway the columns have at least 7 different designs on them.

Just make it exist first. From idea sketch to final... "product"...? Trying to be a kid again and play with paper and glue. Do recommend. #Art #BookArt #PaperCollage #FoundText #MixedMediaArt #DIYArt #PaperCraft

Quick crappy sketch showing outlines of a house with walls and how it fits in the final artwork.

Photo of the final artwork, a collage of ripped out pages of a book put together messily with a 3D simple house with a window with slightly simpler text on it, a red sun/moon above, and clean ground below. What does it mean? Only you know.

Some more from exploring around different places in Tokyo. I do recommend holidays with absolutely no plans on some days and just walk around... Most days I'd argue. #Photography #CityPhotography #CityScape #Urban #Tokyo #Japan #SkyTree

Photo of a cityscape during the day with a large building in the distance and some greenery to the left close to the camera.

Photo of a half cloudy sky with the sun shining through thick clouds on the left with silhouetted powelines and a bridge further away.

Photo of a green field in front of a river framed by trees, with a cityscape and a large tower (Tokyo Sky Tree) visible in the far distance, on a bright sunny day.

A closeup photo of a blue abandoned couch on cobblestone ground up against a stone wall with patches of greenery around it.

Is it cheating to say StarCraft?

000

Equiliari @equiliari.bsky.social · 11/01/2026

Since the full name is "floppy disk", it all depends on what part people preferred to shorten it to. In Norway most of us just called them "Diskett". "Floppy" (Flåppi!) just wouldn't really work here, its not very Norwegian sounding and our Language Council (An actual thing) would be against it.

I like the vibes here. I have heard there are less people here and therefore less activity, but I was never as "popular" on xitter as I am here now, and that with less engagement. And so far people tend to be nicer. Which makes me calmer.
