M&S have responded to our letter regarding the complaint about a supposedly trans employee. Yet more evidence that anti-trans obsessives lied about the incident to stoke hostility towards trans people. We all have a duty to tackle such mis(dis)information to protect our community.

We stand in full solidarity with #LondonTransPride today. While we can’t be there in person this year, please see our statement below in our absence. Protest safely, look out for each other, and show up as your full, authentic selves. #TransRightsAreHumanRights #TransPride #TransRightsMatter 🏳️‍⚧️
Statement from Equality Amplified – London Trans+ Pride 2025

Today is London Trans+ Pride. While we’re not able to be there in person this year, our solidarity is unwavering. We were proud to stand with you last year, and we continue to stand with you now in spirit and in purpose.

This day matters. It exists because it has to. It’s a reminder that trans rights are human rights, and visibility, safety, and justice are still being fought for.

We’re sending love and strength to everyone marching, speaking, showing up, and supporting, especially those facing hostility, discrimination, or silence. We see you. You matter.

We hope to return in person next year and join you once again. Until then, be safe, be bold, and be proud.

Today is International Non-Binary People’s Day, a time to celebrate those whose identities exist beyond the binary. Non-binary people are real, valid, and deserve respect. Whether you’re out, questioning, or just learning, you belong. We see you. We support you. We stand with you. 💛🤍💜🖤

We’d love to say we’re surprised, but given the BBC’s ongoing habit of platforming trans and non-binary erasure, this feels sadly predictable.
During a sequence about heatwaves, Martine Croxall was reading a script that directly quoted a report from The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. As the language wasn't clearly attributed, she used her editorial judgement to make a live adjustment.
We're happy that this was duly accurate and impartial in line with the BBC's Editorial guidelines.
We appreciate you may continue to feel differently but we're grateful for your feedback, which has been shared with senior members of the BBC News team.

JK Rowling’s words are reckless and put trans people at risk. Saying “decent men will stay out” and encouraging people to photograph and shame others in toilets invites random harassment. This isn’t about safety, it spreads fear and hate. Trans people deserve respect and protection.
JK Rowlings tweet about trying to police toilets

Quite easily, really. Decent men will stay out, as they always have, so we can assume all who don't are a threat, given their disregard for women's and girls' safety, privacy and dignity.
Photographing, reporting and disseminating such men's images online will be a piece of cake.

Take a minute today to be silent. 9 years ago today, 49 lives were stolen and 53 injured at Pulse nightclub in Orlando. A hate crime that targeted LGBTQ+ and Latinx people. We remember them. Pride is survival. Pride is protest. Pride is remembrance. We fight on. #Pulse #NeverForget

EHRC Commissioner Akua Reindorf said trans people should accept reduced rights. The Guardian published that. Then quietly changed the headline to say “perceived” rights. That’s not reporting, it’s protecting bigotry. The truth didn’t fit their narrative, so they’re trying to bury it.

I Kissed A Boy” tells young gay men that they might experience human connection beyond the LGB Alliance’s dusty rulebook. It’s a radical, dangerous concept: that attraction is personal, not policed by a Twitter account stuck in 1983. See our strongly worded eye-roll 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
I Kissed A Boy" tells young gay men watching the show that they must be attracted to women who are pretending to be male. It's a regressive, insulting and homophobic message to same-sex attracted young people. See our letter to the BBC's Tim Davie.

This is a hateful, politically driven assault on trans youth disguised as concern. Weaponising a court ruling to deny puberty blockers is not about safety or ethics it’s about erasing trans lives. It’s state-sanctioned cruelty. These people aren’t protecting children. They’re harming them.
Truncated for character limit.

Sir James,
We write to urge the immediate cancellation of the planned trial of puberty blockers. We believe the trial is now untenable following the Supreme Court judgment in For Women Scotland v Scottish Ministers.

The judgment confirms that the protected characteristic of sex in the Equality Act 2010 refers to biological sex, not legal sex acquired through a Gender Recognition Certificate. The EHRC, in its interim update of 25th April, affirmed that this means single-sex spaces, services, and associations are lawfully exclusive to biological sex, regardless of gender identity or legal documentation.

As a result, children under the care of gender services—whether NHS or private—must now be informed that they will never be entitled to access spaces or services designated for the opposite sex, regardless of any medical or legal interventions.

This undermines the fundamental rationale for prescribing puberty blockers: the aim of facilitating a gender-distressed child’s ability to “pass” as the opposite sex in adulthood. If the legal and social recognition of that identity is now curtailed, the justification for halting natural puberty collapses.

Continuing with this trial under these circumstances would be both unethical and misleading. We urge you to act swiftly and cancel it.

Pushing autism checks on all trans kids is dangerous. It pathologises identity, delays vital care, and fuels stigma. It treats trans lives as problems to solve, not people to protect. This will hurt, isolate, and endanger vulnerable youth.
The NHS will test all children who believe they are transgender for autism under new plans seen by The Telegraph.
Every child referred to a gender clinic will be
"screened for neurodevelopmental conditions" such as autism and ADHD under new guidance, to be introduced in the wake of the Cass review.

JK Rowling’s latest post on X mocks real oppression by ridiculing trans and queer people who are simply asserting boundaries and visibility. This isn’t satire, it’s cruelty dressed as wit! Dehumanising others for engagement isn’t brave, it’s cowardice. We see you, and we won’t be silent.
