Germany’s far-right AfD just won a state election with the slogan “Everything is possible.” Meanwhile, establishment parties like Germany’s own CDU have committed to phrases like “There is no other alternative.” To defeat the far-right, we need people who believe a better world is possible.

What voters hear when your grand vision for liberalism is just more of the status quo:
TikTok comments riffing on phrases that usually mean someone has done something extraordinary and turning them ordinary. “He did the thinkable” “Stoppable in his day” “Believable player” “Strikes confidence into defenders” “Streets will forget what he done for us”

Today, like this entire anniversary, is about you: your family's story, their achievements, even their flaws. It's about the diversity of you and your friends' different backgrounds. It's about little things that make your neighborhood weird that someone from out of town wouldn't find that special.
Don't let bad actors steal your American spirit. Happy fourth from EFI.

America's history doesn't belong to the president. It doesn't even belong to the government. The people who call this country home, the people who make up the most diverse place on the planet, are the reason why the 250th is worth celebrating. Don't let anyone take that away from you. #America250

Every so often, you discover a niche debate about a historical figure’s sexuality. Some of these are probably more likely than others. Yet, they reminds us that queer people have always existed, and they aren’t going anywhere. #Pride

This Pride Month, have enough pride for ten. For every out and proud Queer person, there are so many LGBT+ individuals who are still in the closet. This is what Pride Month is about. Be the example. Give people hope.
For every out Queer person, there are many who don't yet feel safe being themselves.

On International Women’s Day, remember: if someone had to fight for your rights, use them. This goes for more than voting. Women had to fight for a voice in their workplaces, churches, and communities. Go make a difference. Non-women, actively support them. Stand up to injustice.

Black History Month is almost over, but the fight for freedom never is. Wherever we are, no matter the time, we all need to stand up to injustice. #BlackHistoryMonth

The Equal Freedom Institute joins the Nation of Laws Coalition to condemn the killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti by federal agents. Read the full release here: lawdayofaction.org/ice-in-mn-st...
“The administration’s actions in Minnesota are a complete betrayal of America’s founding values. Occupation and violence against local communities by a distant centralized government led this country to declare its independence 250 years ago this July. Patriots like Renee Good and Alex Pretti will go down in the history books as our generation’s Crispus Attucks.”

There is no reason for trans athlete bans in schools. State legislatures cannot continue to punish a small number of kids to court favor with cable news hosts. Figuring out who you are as a teenager is hard enough without government overreach.
LET KIDS PLAY SPORTS: Imagine a law meant to make you, and only you, suffer. This is the reality for young trans athletes. State legislatures have passed transgender athlete bans in states where there are fewer than ten young trans athletes without any scientific evidence that their inclusion is problematic.

The Equal Freedom Institute stands with the Nation of Laws Coalition in condemning the federal government's attack on community self-determination and homeless people in DC. Local self-government and civil liberties aren't Democratic values or Republican values -- they're American values. 🔗👇
“The federal assault on local autonomy in Washington D.C. is a stark reminder that liberty is not lost all at once—it’s dismantled piece by piece. This is the latest in a troubling pattern of expanding executive power without concern for civil liberties, the rule of law, or the consent of the governed. The Equal Freedom Institute calls on patriotic Americans from both parties to rise to the moment and protect liberal democracy for the next generation.”
— Jarrell Cook, Executive Vice President, Equal Freedom InstituteNation of Laws Coalition Condemns Executive Overreach in Federalization of DC Police
August 12, 2025
The Nation of Laws Coalition condemns the President’s unprecedented decision to seize control of Washington, D.C.’s Metropolitan Police Department. This act strikes at the heart of democratic self-governance and undermines the constitutional principles that protect us all.

The administration’s public claim that police can now “do whatever they want,” paired with the announcement that other cities like Los Angeles or Chicago could be next, signals a grave shift toward unchecked federal overreach—one that could reach any community in the United States. Americans should be alarmed not just because this is an attack on local self-governance, but because it sets a precedent for targeting entire communities based on political agendas.

"All Americans who want to minimize the possibility of war with Iran should support President Trump’s effort to make a deal that prevents that implacably hostile regime from obtaining a nuclear weapon. If these negotiations fail, however, rather than igniting an uncontrollable regional war, **a targeted strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities** could end the threat that has"
