Today we celebrate #RareDiseaseDay! Between 6000 and 8000 distinct rare diseases exist today, impacting the lives of between 27 and 36 million people. 70% of rare diseases start in childhood. The #OrphaDev4Kids project is developing Orphan Medical Devices for children living with #rarediseases.
