Last weekend I was at a festival in Welkom, Vrystaat. Most of the people there would readily identify as "Afrikaners". Early afternoon, not many people there yet. The cover band plays the iconic "Pata, Pata" by Miriam Makeba, and the few people bop happily. Gave me the feels.

Some things you can't get online... like this boxed set from Wendy Carlos. On disc II is probably my favourite performance of all time, Scarlatti sonata in G Major K 455. 🎹 My whole being resonates with pleasure every time I hear this amazing rendition. 😍
