Since my cat is having medical issues, this will be the last purchase I will be making for the foreseeable future. His cardiologist appt is on the 30th so at least until then. Once he gets sorted out I can hopefully go back to dildo posting but im just glad I already had the budget for these guys!

I completely forgot about the KVD drop tonight until just now but I am so glad these babies waited a full hour for me. I bought both the Medium and the Large sizes of them and I am so so happy! I cant wait to get these guys in!

The moment I let my guard down :( Hopefully we can get some answers today but I know there isnt too much my vet can do for us other than some more blood work and another referral. I havent even gotten to book the cardiologist appointment for him yet (tho that should happen this week)

CW: medical An update to my cats health: Squid has once again had a seizure this morning so im taking him into the vet to get checked out again. Im really upset I didnt catch this one the moment it happened, I only saw the last half of it. Ive been watching him so closely lately and it happened

Marlow 💛 @eplatyurus.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Sorry my response took so long! That one is one of the ones I am more hesitant to give up tbh, I paid 135 for it so I would probably take 120 shipped. But if you are interested just lmk and we can discuss over dms about it

I love all my Chiagrus so much and even though I am fully satisfied with where the collection is at now I still can not wait to add to it in the future! I am hoping at some point I can grab a large as well and maybe a S/S and some other minis. When I do I will for sure be updating these family pics!

Marlow 💛 @eplatyurus.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

And finally my Mini/Soft Gummy Shark Chiagru and my teenies! I really need way way more teenies tho! I can never have enough of those little guys 🥰

Here is some solo shots of everyone, starting off with my favorite size, my mediums. 1. M/M Rosy Maple Moth 2. M/SS Goblin 3. M/S Teal and Lavender 4. M/SS Opulent Royal Blue and Gold The teal one was my first ever Chigaru and the reason I have so many today!

Marlow 💛 @eplatyurus.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Finally decided to get a photo of my Chigaru family! @hodge-podge.bsky.social's Chigaru has been one of my favorite toys in my collection and I just could not resist having so many of them. Even though this family is mostly complete, there is still plenty of room for it to grow in the future too!

That really sucks im sorry, at least i believe hpe has the basic 100$ insurance on their packages so if you reach out to usps they should be able to do something about it. But genuinely chiagru is my favorite plug ever so its really sad to see you might not be receiving the one you bought :(

As an update to this, we just got back from the vet. The source of the seizure is unknown, his labs came back clean. But we did suspect him of having a heart murmur last check up and we confirmed it at this appointment. Level 4. So we ended up coming home with a referral to a cardiologist instead 🙃

I feel this so hard. I spend a lot of my money on mail order plants during the summer. Ive always feared losing them means lots of money wasted but somehow I've been able to keep some of them alive. But see it this way, if you at least get some joy out of them before they die then it was worth it

Chimeing in to say I also have a NC31 one and even though at the time I bought it I was super duper into textured toys, this is one that didnt work for me because it was too textured. Kinda felt like sandpaper on my bits because of the shallow+stiff texture. Slaver is a way different experience lol

221

Marlow 💛 @eplatyurus.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Im currently taking the next few days to watch over him and check on him every few minutes so I can catch it before it starts next time but I so so hope this will be the only one he will ever experience in his life 😭

110

Marlow 💛 @eplatyurus.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

At this point I just really want to hear what my vet says about it. I wish I caught a video to take with me but I couldnt keep him safe and video at the same time and hopefully if there is anything wrong it can still be caught even though itll be 48+ hours since it happened

110

Marlow 💛 @eplatyurus.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

And afterwards he did experience a lot of unsteadiness when he tried to walk and I could very clearly tell he was confused and not all there in the moment and it absolutely broke my heart. Afterwards he took a 1hr nap and went back to his old self so hopefully he is fine 🤞

110

Marlow 💛 @eplatyurus.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

The moment it happened I had to move him because he was in danger of wedging himself between my bed and my side table if I didnt so I held him in my lap for the duration of it, not trying to stop the spasms but to keep him supported and stable in one spot while i pet and talked to him through it.

110

Marlow 💛 @eplatyurus.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

It was one of those seizures where the moment it starts you absolutely know that its a seizure. Nothing like what youd expect from some of the other some of the other forms (at least to my knowledge). I was fully expecting him to lose control of his bladder or drool but he thankfully didnt.

110

Marlow 💛 @eplatyurus.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Cw: medical description- I appreciate the question because I also doubted myself that it was grand mal, but it was a very intense situation. Full body convulsions (30 secs) with muscle stiffness (another 30 secs after the convulsions stopped) fully dilated pupils and loss of awareness/consciousness.

120

Marlow 💛 @eplatyurus.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

To add onto this, I was crocheting to music at the time it happened, I paused everything the moment I noticed something was wrong (he was in my bed sleeping next to me as I did this) and I just had the thought to check what I was listening to at that moment and it was STROBELITE by gorillaz...

020

Marlow 💛 @eplatyurus.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Thank you so much for the well wishes. I dont know how true it is but I have heard that you get one free seizure in your life without it meaning anything and I am really really hoping that is the case for him 🤞

020

Marlow 💛 @eplatyurus.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

One of my cats had a grand mal seizure last night. It was my first time seeing anyone experiencing a seizure and it was very scary. The earliest I could get him into the vet is Monday morning and im very nervous about it. For those who know my cats it was squid (the tux), my poor baby boy 😭
