epl-type7greenline.bsky.social @epl-type7greenline.bsky.social · 28/09/2026It shows how comfortable people are with women losing the right to bodily autonomy. I'm not surprised, but still am disappointed. 041

epl-type7greenline.bsky.social @epl-type7greenline.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Nice! And we could find somebody who relies on the E during the afternoon as well as those who rely on the earliest trains-especially those coming from downtown. 000
epl-type7greenline.bsky.social @epl-type7greenline.bsky.social · 19/09/2026I'd love to see a story focusing on green line riders-especially during shutdowns that involve the entire central trunk (hint, there's one coming up very soon). epl-type7greenline.bsky.social @epl-type7greenline.bsky.social · 03/09/2026The Orange line is not a good replacement for the Green line, and anybody who has ever tried to ride the E line right after Boston Latin gets out in the afternoon knows that the #39 isn't adequate-not even close. 000
epl-type7greenline.bsky.social @epl-type7greenline.bsky.social · 03/09/2026I can't speak for everyone, but as an early morning green line customer (coming from downtown), I'm often left with no alternative but to either walk 50 minutes to work or spend money on an Uber. So I'd like to see the officials actually get up early and try to take the 'alternatives.' 100
epl-type7greenline.bsky.social @epl-type7greenline.bsky.social · 28/08/2026Thanks for this. I've pretty much received a Collins flier in the mail every single day for the past month, but there appears to be no "there" there. 131
epl-type7greenline.bsky.social @epl-type7greenline.bsky.social · 28/08/2026Thanks. One of the worst things is the gaslighting. One thing I wish is that Eng would be forced to travel right along with us. I especially want to see him try to board the #39 bus at Longwood, right after Boston Latin gets out, during the green line shutdown that's scheduled in September. 111
epl-type7greenline.bsky.social @epl-type7greenline.bsky.social · 28/08/2026In my case, it's having to spend money on Ubers because no matter what the T says they do not offer a real replacement for early morning green line service. epl-type7greenline.bsky.social @epl-type7greenline.bsky.social · 17/08/2026I'll go a step further: the silence a lot of men (from all parts of the political spectrum) on the subject of women being demeaned and/or removed from places of power/influence is deafening. 020

The problem is, we need to get to places now. I invite Mr. Eng to interact with early morning E line customers during this shutdown-starting at 5 am. 000
epl-type7greenline.bsky.social @epl-type7greenline.bsky.social · 05/08/2026Not surprised at all. I've met a few too many people who read articles like this and say they want the bigger vehicle so that they will be the 'winners.' 010

epl-type7greenline.bsky.social @epl-type7greenline.bsky.social · 01/08/2026Which is exactly why it doesn't solve the problem of congestion. Incidentally, it doesn't just enable more car usage-the wider roads often make it more and more dangerous (if not impossible) for people to get around in ways other than by car. So in some cases it forces more car usage. 000
epl-type7greenline.bsky.social @epl-type7greenline.bsky.social · 01/08/2026It's an example of the 'if you build it they will come' phenomenon. At first, it does reduce congestion, and that attracts more drivers-especially if public transit is cut at the same time. And then you end up with traffic as bad as or worse than before, and more cars means more pollution. 100
epl-type7greenline.bsky.social @epl-type7greenline.bsky.social · 01/08/2026And... it has been going on for even longer. It's both scary and sad how easy it is to pit all of us against each other. epl-type7greenline.bsky.social @epl-type7greenline.bsky.social · 30/07/2026As bad as this sounds, at least the MBTA is *trying* to provide alternatives.
