A6: As part of reauthorization of the FAA, EF advocates for epilepsy rescue medications to be added to airplane med kits. EF supports Seizure Safe Schools and launched a nationwide initiative to pass Seizure Safe Schools legislation in all states. To date, 24 states have implemented this policy.

EFA created fact sheets for planning to evacuate with tips related to digitizing seizure action plans & stocking anti-seizure meds. EFA created a fact sheet for shelter staff to learn seizure first aid/recognition.
