!["Hi! I’m Aiah, a Filipino poet dedicated to seeking beauty and love in every moment she experiences. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been feeling and writing with the depths of the sea—I hope my words can help bring you to a different world full of wonder!"
[EXCERPT] Breathe. Match pictures to words. Give ideas names. Complete the sentence.
You are…
Birdsong’s cradle / at dawn / as eyes open. // The darkest hour / falling to its knees, / pitiful and poor / beside brightness you bear. // Turpentine’s taste / from my talk / turning / in my tongue / when it mimics your melody / and laughs. // Land’s / uncharacteristic silence. / Magic / in my mind, / screaming, scarred, and / never visited before.
Are you still with me? Stay, please. It’s just us here. I’ll join you.
I am a girl who offers you her heart—who loves you. Let’s try that again and again until you’re able to see.

[EXCERPT] There’s this medication I was prescribed as a kid
and I was told that I wouldn’t live without it.
The issue was that it only came
in the form of a pill.
So I treated myself with reading and poetry
and pretty drawings and friends
and creating whole worlds in my head.
My teacher didn’t really like that
I couldn’t handle the dosage.
And maybe this is something I’ll come to regret,
but I’ve made it this far and I’m not dead yet.

!["Hi! I'm Imperatrix Ferrea, formal verse poet and overall literature enthusiast. I’ve a penchant for poking at themes of love and longing, and often gloom and grieving too. There's something for everyone in there between the “woe is me”, and the “pick me please!" Why not pay a visit? We’ve got breakfast."
[EXCERPT:] From deepest slumber I awake to your dearest smell, / Through all these days stretched into years, I've grown to know it well. / Drive by such divine a scent, my mind begins to race, / With dreams of love and literature, and towering breakfast plates.
I try to shake myself awake, as sleep clings to my eyes. / But sleep retreats, for from their beaks, the birds call from the skies. / As I rush quickly down the stairs, I see you there at last. The sight of you infests my brain; I say, "I want breakfast."
