Here's to another year 🎂🎉

A screenshot of EpicKidArt's Twitter account, with balloons floating on the screen to signify their birthday.

Been working on a lot recently, and I have an announcement I'm excited to share! I'm taking requests on VGen! For now it's only emotes, but the more I get comfortable with everything, I might expand the services I provide there :>

if I can figure out why my laptop hates glaze so much, I'll be able to post more art, but right now, it's looking like it'll take a lot of troubleshooting, and I don't have the energy to at the moment. I just feel like I'd be more confident in posting my art if I knew it was protected >.>

Art progress has been going kind of slow recently; I've been working on a couple more long-term projects, one even being ~20hrs of work and still likely a few hours from being done at the very least >.> found a bit of inspiration recently though, so maybe I'll finish something soon :>

Things have been really busy since a personal thing happened, but here's a wip of something I've been working on recently to try and get back into drawing (with a bit less pressure on myself to make things perfect) This might be a surprise bc I'm not sure I ever posted the original :)

A close up of a drawing/sketch of a face, featuring an eye, eyebrow, and part of some hair and an ear.

The person's skin color is a pale-ish hue, the eyebrow and hair are a medium brown color, and the eye's iris is a muted green color.

Super late to this trend; technically the blue background and green background one are the same character but the first heavily inspired the second. #oc #art #artist

A character called "Friendship." They have brown hair that has some loose or soft spikiness to it, and are wearing two hair clips, one red and one blue. Their skin tone is a light gray. Half of their face is covered with a deep blue circular mask that has no holes in it, although they are able to see and/or perceive their environment very clearly. Their ears are visible and have hair tucked behind them. Friendship's expression is positive, with a small but confident grin.

They are wearing a teal shirt under a two-toned dark gray and medium gray jacket, with the sleeves cut to look like a t-shirt's sleeves. Friendship does not have arms or legs, and effectively is floating about in space; although can choose to have both (they have shapeshifting capabilities to some extent).

Their hands are completely mechanical, with the palm and fingers separated, having no joints to connect them to the palms (hands and fingers also float, but generally stay within realistic arm range).

The art is signed with my username (@EpicKidArts), and with the date it was finished, 12-19-16. Additionally, there is a low-opacity watermark over the chest/torso of Friendship, saying "do not repost" on top, and "EpicKidArts" on bottom.

A grayscale character with a teal blue background, only showing the torso and up.

This character is the earliest design of Epic, and has messy short hair with a part on their left (the right of the viewer). They are wearing a medium gray turtleneck with a pocket over the heart (their left, viewer's right). They are wearing dark gray pants, only the top of which are visible.

They are wearing a mask over half of their face, with two vertically oval eyes (simple cartoony eyes), and are smiling in a friendly way.

The art is signed with my username (@EpicKidArts), and never was marked with the date it was finished. Additionally, there is a low-opacity watermark over the chest/torso, saying "do not repost" on top, and "EpicKidArts" on bottom.

A front and back full-body drawing of the character over a desaturated green background.

This is the most current version of Epic. She has brown hair that sits just above her underarms in length, and it is messily kept. She has a part on her left side (right of the viewer), and an ahoge. Her expression is mostly neutral. She has green eyes with a bit of brown mixed in (hazel or just around the pupil).

She is wearing a simple pull-over hoodie and dark blue pants (often jeans), and is wearing gray ankle socks.

Both front-facing and back-facing drawings have a watermark of my username (@EpicKidArts) on the left side near Epic's thigh and knee area. Additionally, there is a low-opacity watermark over her chest/torso, saying "do not repost" on top, and "EpicKidArts" on bottom.

This year's redraw compared to last year's redraw, and compared to the original! Tried something a bit less blotchy this time around. Tried for ages to find the date I drew the original, but I still haven't found it after a couple hours of searching. #oc #art #halloween #redraw

A drawing of a white person (Epic) with messy brown hair that sits just past the shoulders. Instead of human ears, there are fluffy dark brown ears like a dog's. Epic is being portrayed as a werewolf here.

For Epic's expression, it's a playful expression with one eyebrow raised, and the tongue is stuck out. The eyes are a warm mix between green and brown, with slitted pupils. The overall pose is confident, leaning towards the foreground.

There are also two watermarks, one in the upper left and the other in the bottom right, both reading "do not repost, EpicKidArts". There is also "@EpicKidArts 10-22-24" over the shoulder of Epic's that is on the viewer's left.

I got a cold, so this is taking a bit longer than I expected, but it's still happening, just a bit later than I thought

Working on a Halloween redraw! Hoping to have it done sometime tomorrow at latest, since I just started the linework for it :>

Honestly, missing my Twitch streams is a tragedy. Sometimes you witness a roast to end all roasts.

I figured that this time around, and as my first post here, I'd post a little self introduction! ^-^ #art

Title: "Meet the artist: Epic"

Upper left side:
- OC/fan art
-multi-fandom
- the Capricorn symbol, with January 19th in parentheses)

Upper right side:
Sub-title: "Main goals"
- post semi-regularly
- start streaming (with the Twitch symbol next to it)
- start taking comms (short for commissions)

Bottom right:
Sub-title: "Fun facts"
- I've been posting art for 7+ years
- I used to only draw on a phone with my index finger (an example would be these 2 pieces), in which arrows point to two of the 11 versions of Epic's design

Descriptions of the designs of Epic, which are on the middle left, bottom left, and bottom center of the image:
There are 11 designs, most of which are sporting brown hair and a gray top/hoodie, and dark/blue pants. The hair in most of the designs is messy, with uncentered bangs and what is referred to as an 'ahoge'. Epic has pale/fair skin and green-brown eyes, usually depicted as a muddy or desaturated green. Epic also does wear glasses, but those glasses are often not represented in visual depictions.
