I also have the silly perspective that SAGE is not ABOUT Sonic, but FROM Sonic, like he is the one that kinda hosts and share to more people those projects, I cant see a character or franchise that would fit better this placement

I mean, I kinda understand that feeling, even most of the indies are heavily inspired by some sonic games, 2D, 3D and even Riders, so is literally a good way to know a new game that feels familiar somehow

Since I'm back here its good to share that I did a shader on Unity and on Blender to replicate the 2D art shading I think it looks neat

Performance it one of the hardest things to fix (I had so many problems with it in older demos of my game that I got traumatized) Good luck working on it, I hope it runs well 👌
