eonianshadow @eonianshadow.bsky.social · 22/10/2024E.g. just like when painting miniatures, I firstly put the darkest, shadow color and then gradually lighten it, I'm doing so in digital - block main parts of picture in darkest base colors, then working with each to put the lighter colors that match good with the shadows 110

It gives a good understanding of light and color; even in digital painting, I started using the same principles I learned while painting minis, and it helped me a lot to better feel the interaction between color and light 110
