Y'know, kids come up with the most out of pocket insults. My daughter once went on a rant that ended with "he's so stupid, he probably eats his peanut butter with a fork." Now I say it, but I can't effect that perfect disgust and derision available only to 10 year olds.

Parasocial relationships are kind of weird. For example, I have been following @tkingfisher.bsky.social from the original Elfwood + livejournal days. Sometimes reading her characters puts me in the mind of the friends in her blogposts - and then I realize "you don't KNOW these people!!"

It's happening!! Pink break for the Galaxy peaches, and I reckon it will be about 2 weeks for the Saturn. Highbushes and Rabbiteye bud scales are separating out, too. Aronia buds are glossy, fat, and dark burgundy. Ah, dopamine.
