Problem: Securing my ISP Modem to the server rack means having a complicated connect and disconnect point for a delicate fiber line. Solution: Attach it to a wall by making a template using paper and a pencil.

This also being a screen recording of the interaction: If I set a default, it will incorrectly assign future interactions with the buttons to one of my two animals or one of either my wife or myself. This helps nobody to have incorrectly tagged data so now none of my data is tagged.

Problem: I have an excess amount of items already in containers but I need to plan to strategically consolidate them. Computer use is twice as stressful when office is awry. Solution: I used Inkscape to vector an engineering scale replica of the shelves so that I can prototype container layouts.

Context: I need two ladders to complete an install and the best I have is this rickety straight-ladder, because I'll need the more stable one outside. So, to navigate this awkwardly small hatch and this 20 inch gap full of insulation without my hands full of junk.

Problem: My wife helped me hoist stuff into the attic in a toolbox which was larger than the one depicted, but it is too dangerous to lower it down a straight ladder. Solution: I made a dumbwaiter out of rope and a smaller toolbox to make it easier to move things across the straight ladder.

This is only the 4th time I have rebuilt this it feels like, but now it has a firewall and most of its power is internal. If the protectli OPNsense firewall passed on PoE or I had a 5V DC netgear switch I wouldn't need an injector. If I could use the DC PDU or even another for 12V I'd be golden.
