My problem with the series is I’ve actually always found it way too hard for me personally. And it just kept becoming more so. 1 and 2 are decently playable for me, but 3 onward was frankly just infuriating to which I didn’t finish anything past 2. Never tried peace walker though tbh

Sony never comments on their own games sales. I’m telling you the writing is there if every third party publisher pulled out of their exclusivity deals with them. Wouldn’t make sense for everyone except Sony to think the numbers weren’t good enough.

Almost 3 million copies on a console that just came out and doesn’t have any console selling killer apps yet would be impressive to most normal people. It’s a matter of business perspective. Not raw numbers. Corporate wants constant growth and they hasn’t had that in ages (2/2)

What we consider good sales is not what a company would always consider good sales. For example, Kirby Airriders sold a bit over 2 million copies, which like the 5 million, would prolly still be considered low sales for investors etc. but realistically hitting (1/2)

Xbox doesn’t but their noses into games they fund like this. I’m well aware of past financial fumbles like Scalebound. Both Sony and Xbox seem fully willing to let Kojima just make weird shit though, my only guess is Kojima prolly needed more money than Sony wanted to put out tbh

Kojima Studios operates primarily from outside funding, all of their games since the split have been funded by an outside studio. It’ll prolly come to other platforms later but if Xbox is funding it now due to PlayStation pulling out that’s how this is going to go

It’s a matter of the feel being understandable and the logic not. Especially if your logic is for PC, hollow knight is a metroidvania. Castlevania etc has been on PC long before hollow knight came around. I’m genuinely just not getting the comparison because I look at it and it’s kinda just not true

1.0 unfortunately I’m still running into a lot of the same bugs I had in the alpha. I was spending time shopping in a house in the first settlement and walked out to find the geometry had unloaded and to not fall I had to jump from platform to platform to table until the ground loaded back

The only ones I would be cautious of are the 13 trilogy depending on your device and 16. 16 in particular is poorly optimized and you need a card that vastly surpasses the current consoles to get it working well
