I just started playing “Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth.” Man, do I enjoy the “Yakuza” games, just getting into them this past year.

Fox made an American version of “Doc Martin,” and it’s essentially a carbon copy with shoehorned-in gags that are only there to appeal to the 7 second attention span crowd. If you saw trailers for “Best Medicine” and have a Prime account with Britbox or Acorn, watch the UK version instead.

Rich seems to know his “Man of La Mancha.” What matter wounds to the body of a knight errant? For each time he falls, he shall rise again, and woe to the wicked! #welcometoderry

Nick Jonas portraying Paul Stanley in a biopic? I’m….intrigued.

That’s beautiful. I always liked the blue scheme of the II and III slightly better, but this takes me back to those days when I’d bolt home to catch some “Wing” and “Zoids” before homework.

I’m wanting to get into miniature wargaming to expand out my tabletop gaming skills. I too love to tinker around, and I suppose the word “hobby” is apropos because I’m using it to give myself an escape from my soul-crushing job.

I’m looking into starting the 3d printing hobby. Looking for rec’s for FDM rather than resin, even though I’ll be making miniatures with it. Apparently PLA+ is good enough.

I just started watching “The Four Seasons” on Netflix. I got up to the resort episode, and Colman Domingo is being so messy rn. I live for it.

I started watching “Mid-Century Modern” with Nathan Lane. Nice to see the girl hasn’t lost one ounce of Albert in 30 years.

Started a new book today, “White Trash Warlock” by @drslayton.bsky.social. It’s got me hooked by chapter two. Feels like “Dresden” but with an Okie twist. Nice to see someone from this state of mine come out with an instant classic. Check it out, if only for the original title choice.

I finally got around to “Watchmen: Chapter 1” on Max. I love the meta joke of Jeffrey Combs playing Moloch and having a confrontation w/Rorschach.

I know the adaptation of “The Thursday Murder Club” is stacked with a who’s who of talent, and I can’t help but envision Gary Oldman as Steve in this book. Maybe Rosamund Pike for Amy, though that’s a push given how many people associate her with another literary Amy.

I made the wrong choices in my youth, going for Genesis for the MK that had blood in it and things like that. Once I saw that first trailer for FF7, I just HAD to get a PlayStation. It’s been a hell of a ride ever since.

I want to say I recall having an issue of “Electronic Gamer Monthly” when I lived in Cali. and they were more receptive to the idea of Lunar: Silver Star Story than this rag’s take on FF2/4.

If dragon rider fantasy is something you’d like, try Ryan Cahill or Michael R Miller. Assassins is Andy Peloquin’s “Darkblade” series. Chinese historical fiction is Baptise Pinson Wu.

Play whatever version is available to you and/or meets your needs as far as graphic quality/preference, QOL, etc. Gatekeeping is bullshit, and nobody has any right to dictate your personal gaming enjoyment.
