My family evacuated safely from the northern edge of Santa Clarita. Spare a thought for the more than 5,000 prisoners at the Pitchess Detention Center who are “sheltering in place” even though their prison is in the evacuation order zone.

Onyx was getting on my office chair whenever I stood up, so I brought a second chair in for him. Then one day I threw a blanket across it & he loved it. So my tiny office is a bit cramped now, with a permanent elevated blanket fort for my cat to feel safe and warm in, but still part of the pride.
