i felt extremely inspired by @enricocartmanuel.bsky.social 's sonic cd stage art so i made some sonic cd style ground tiles for the s3k zones it might not make much sense for flying battery and death egg to have ground tiles, but i figured i should try them too maybe i'll mock something up...

Marble Meltdown Zone ~ Present #sonic #soniccd #sprite #pixelart

A wide pixel art view of Marble Zone from Sonic the Hedgehog, done in the style of Sonic CD. Rather than being made up entirely of bricks, the land is made of natural, patterned ground as well. Sonic is peeling out across this land. To his right and above him are two Buzz Bombers.

I stepped down from Sonic Hysteria a few weeks ago. Game is still being made by the rest of the dev team. Reason is because my life changed a lot these past 2 years, I've been grinding music and art behind the scenes, I've nearly reached my full potential, and Sonic is not my full potential.

Drew Rash from Battletoads on a magma.com canvas with a friend. I'm pretty proud of the pose I did, especially since anatomy is something I've never even tried studying, and even more so considering I did this with a mouse. #Battletoads #fanart

People really overexaggerate the difficulty of Battletoads. If anything, it's really just memorization more than execution, especially with levels like Turbo Tunnel, Surf City, and Terra Tubes. The second time I beat the game I did it without any continues or even pause buffering. Honestly THE best NES game though. Never have I before experienced a game that is always fun regardless of how many playthroughs you've done.
