Finished Signalis and it was a ride. The ending didn't hit me too hard, maybe because I saw it sorta coming, but it was still an absolute vibe of a game. I could critique things about the moment to moment gameplay, but the game as a whole is just too good for nitpicking #gaming #vsky

Off into the mine in Signalis :D! (Really dig the vibe of the game so far :3) #spooktober #vsky #gaming

The weirdest thing is that on days where I think I do not know what to write, things come the most naturally once I start it. Just flows out of me from a place I did not even know was there. #writing #writingcommunity #booksky

Finished Phantom Liberty, great dlc many good quests and characters. Decided last minute to stay with the birdie seeing her genuine gratefulness versus the rather cold blooded murder Reed and Alex engaged in prior. In the end my V saved her, because he wanted her to make it. #gaming #vsky

Read Franz Kafka's "The Castle" In irritating and sometimes excrutiating read and that is exactly what it wants to be. One does not want to read and still can't put it away, washed away by the plot much like the MC and at the end one can interpret it in many ways. #book #booksky

Gee. DeNiro+Harrison Ford first row, DeForest Kelly (2nd row middle) + Tom Cruise, Leonard Nimoy (right in beige jacket) with Lucille Ball (?) behind him Robbin Williams+ Walther Mathau (I think) + Gene Hackman, William Shatner + Peter Graves (2nd last row on the left), Charles Bronson behind Cruise

I realised that I have taken only 2 days off this year. Basically every week day I have been writing away, weekends I do take off, but otherwise I have been pumping out 1200-1600, at peak 2000-3000, words a day Only days I took off were to help family & friends (often Fri-Sun) #writing #booksky

Yeah I was really exited after Priest's Tale. It's maybe one of those things were the opening just gives such a strong reaction that everyone just kinda remembers it (not everyone finishes their reads^^). Anyways by the end I was more annoyed with the Hyperion than having enjoyed it.

Eno Khan @enokhan.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Well that was Megaman Battlenetwork 3, have to say that I was glad to have the megabuster mode option in the legacy edition. The last bits of the game would have been a pain in the ass otherwise since they are mix of padding and Bass/Alpha sorta require you to grind out ressources. #gaming #vsky

E.g. machine learning algos genuinely revolutionise pharmaceutical research aswell as astronomy and astrophysics with tangible results. Ofc OpenAI/Anthropic vaguely claim those successes for themselves, just that those technologies have nothing to do with LLMs or any of the shit they do at all <_<

000

Eno Khan @enokhan.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

That said I would not use it since I find real voices much more expressive and varied and hence better. I just wouldn't cast stones at anyone using LLM narration. I generally am annoyed how the foul business practices and lies of few ruin the reputation of tech not even related to it.

Eno Khan @enokhan.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

I am not that opposed against the concept tbh. Text to speech has been a tool used for a long time and for indies hiring a VA to do a whole novel (and pay them fair) is not and was never a feasible proposition unless you are already decently successful or have cash to burn

200

Eno Khan @enokhan.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

It's just generally a good vehicle to detach yourself from current affairs and take a bird's eye view of things which is why I probably always preferred it over full blown fantasy.

000

Eno Khan @enokhan.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

(Also considering the rest of the Hyperion series books aren't in anyone's Top of anything list I presume that those aren't that much to write home about either, but feel free to correct me on that one)

000

Eno Khan @enokhan.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Hot (?) take: Dan Simmons Hyperion is not good enough to be in every "Top 10 Greatest Sci-Fi Novels" Don't get me wrong the Priest's Tale is 10/10, but the rest of the book is oddly self indulgent, spoils the scholars tale in first 10% and amounts to essentially nothing happening #booksky #books

In the last few days the intented ending for my 3rd novel has fleshed out a bit more in my head with various details. I think it's going to be a lovely finale at the very least ... I am just a long way off from it yet, but can't wait to get there x3 #vtuber #writing #writingcommunity

Output is usually not even the easiest tell. Just look at the covers. The AI slop all looks the fkin same stylisitically, it all has the same errors and absurdities. Use the ability to read the first few pages, AI writing is equally identifiable. It's redundant, overly descriptive and formulaic

Eno Khan @enokhan.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Some first impression of Phantom Liberty: Like the feel and look, especially the verticality, really sells the place. Reed, Myers and Songbird are intriguing characters, generally good writing out of it so far with side characters too. A bit glitchy at time tho. #vtuber #gaming

Finished Isaac Asimov's "I, Robot" It was an interesting read. He had good intuitions about Human psychology though some of his notions seems almost archaic now. Nuclear energy never became dominant while robots and computers went down very different ways Still a very insightful read #booksky

I've now almost been streaming for two years, and been affiliated for one (both anniversaries being officially on the 1st September) So I thought I could finally make some proper Twitch badges ! I think they turned out rather cute ☕🐰 #art #digitalart

Coffee themed drawings meant to be used as subscriber badges on Twitch.
The first is a to-go coffee cup with a bunny drawn on the zarf.
The second a latte in a cup, the latte drawing is in the shape of a bunny.
The third has black coffee in an elegant cup with a bunny-shaped marshmallow floating in it.
The fourth has whipped cream on top, still bunny shaped.
The fifth coffee is in a transparent cup with cream and caramel on top.
The sixth and last coffee is in an elegant glass cup with whipped cream on top and small red bunnies sprinkled on it.

Chibi portrait I made for Otsukoko on Twitch ! #vgencomm #art #chibi #lineless

Portrait of the vtuber Otsukoko in a chibi lineless art style.
He has blue grey-ish hair with a few pink strokes. He has a circus inspired style with a shiny hat with a star on it and a ruff around his neck.
He has a smug expression, while winking.

I am sure Todd Howard and the C-suite at Bethesda/Zenimax are still laughing themselves to sleep over the price they got. Those guys made double what they could have gotten under normal market conditions. (Same goes for the Bungie and ActiBlizz C-Suites) Not that the avg. dev would see any of it.

Finished Dante Alghieri's "Divine Comedy" (as prosaic translation), an epic and fantastical work written by a petty, vindictive and jealous man. Full of invectives against personal enemies, praise for those he likes (especially himself) and moralising speeches. #book #booksky #vtuber

Yeah I get ya, I often stumble into a scene and out comes sometimes stuff I genuinely don't know where I pulled it from and in the end it just fits together. I mean I get characters details wrong sometimes, especially when I don't note them down, but the overall thing stays shockingly consistent.

Have to say that I enjoy Megaman Battle Network 3 the most out of the three titles so far. 1 will always have my nostalgia and 2 has made some very good modification on the combat system/chips, but three actually is the most polished game so far. #gaming #vtuber
