Live streaming a military execution amounts to cruel and unusual punishment. The Constitution says no to that, which is the same document banning Trump from putting the execution on pay-per-view. I wouldn’t put past him to make a buck on this spectacle, but there is that pesky emolument clause.

It’s not cowardice at all for a public figure trying to make a buck to keep quiet on controversial matters. It’s sound business. If a performing artist promoted a view which was contrary to my own beliefs then there’s a good chance I wouldn’t be buying a ticket for his show.

The level of ignorance, naïveté, paranoia, and gullibility in this country is so high that there are voters who are counting on Trump coming through with his $5,000 pledge. The problem is that because they’re ignorant, naive, gullible, and paranoid those same folks will be voting Republican anyway.
