That is false. Supporting trans people using facilities matching their gender identity does not imply support for child marriage, honor killings, or "Sharia justice." U.S. government cannot establish religious law, and courts remain bound by the Constitution and applicable federal and state law.

So you claim. But such claims are not based on evidence. Again, there is no evidence that, when following established sporting guidelines, transgender individuals have been performing at disproportionate rates to cisgender individuals. You have no evidence to provide in response, so you just say "no

If there's anything that you don't understand about the facts I stated, then I'd be happy to clarify for you. But just responding to such facts with what might as well ammount to "nuh uh, actually ur wrong" doesn't contribute to a productive discussion.

Observable reality demonstrates otherwise. There has been no evidence that, when following established sporting guidelines, trans individuals have been performing at disproportionate rates to cis individuals. Even if there was, that would just call for guideline revision, not segregating minorities.

You're delusional if you think people are claiming transgender people have some magical ability to never commit crimes that cis people don't have. The fact is there has been no evidence of facilities becoming less safe for everywhere that doesn't segregate vulnerable minority groups.

Owen MacQueen @endomed.bsky.social · 04/10/2026
Your fearmongering is unfounded and directly contradicted by observable reality, where it's already 100% legal for individuals in the vast majority of the U.S. to use facilities that align with their gender identity regardless of their sex assigned at birth, as such inclusion is vital to wellbeing.

Being transgender isn't about being a man who feels like a woman, nor is it defined as that in any medical/psychological context. What are you talking about? There's no evidence that allowing individuals to use facilities that align with their gender identity lowers safety levels. Just the opposite.

LGBTQ individuals are extensively documented to disproportionately face issues that general counselors can have less experience with, such as rejection after coming out, family conflict over identity, harassment, discrimination, and odds that a counselor will react negatively to being gay or trans.

That is false. A correction shows an error was found and fixed, not that peer review was "obviously" invalid. It corrected power calculations, while the reported VO2max result remained unchanged. Calling an unchanged published result "disinformation" doesn't rebut it.

Owen MacQueen @endomed.bsky.social · 23/09/2026
Right, low evidence. Then you're turning that limitation into evidence of an advantage, making segregation default. The study's 30 trans women had fitness measures similar to 15 cis women and significantly below men. Athlete data separately found trans women had lower relative VO2max than cis women

You're confusing a curated list of trans wins with a rate. Without total trans entries, losses and matched cis results, those sites can't show "growing dominance." The 2024 study found trans women had lower relative VO2max but higher grip strength. Its correction changed power calculations, not VO2.

If some women feel discomfort, that doesn't show inclusive policies increase danger. Actual crime data found no rise in assault, sex crimes, voyeurism, or stranger violence after such protections.

You're shifting from evidence to assumption. Allowing women to use women's facilities does not abolish women's spaces. Studies nationwide find no increase in assault, voyeurism, or stranger violence from inclusive policies, while trans people face documented harassment when excluded.

Forcing vulnerable minority groups to use facilities that don't align with their gender identity doesn't stop people from commiting crimes. There's no evidence that such segregation has improved safety in any metric. There's only evidence of the exact opposite: that it causes harm.

Your hypothetical doesn't show that trans-inclusive policies remove protections against predators. Assault, voyeurism and harassment remain illegal. Studies find no rise in safety or privacy violations under gender-identity protections. "This person looks wrong" isn't a valid excuse.

Owen MacQueen @endomed.bsky.social · 22/09/2026
That just collates media reports of crimes by trans people. No one's claiming trans people are don't commit crimes. That's not evidence that trans inclusive bathroom rules cause more crime. Comparative crime data finds no increase in assaults, sex crimes, or voyeurism after such protections.

Having a penis or being visibly trans doesn't make someone a perpetrator. The relevant evidence is actual victimization. Studies found trans-inclusive restroom and locker-room policies did not increase assault or privacy violations. People should actually be able to use facilities they're safe in.
