Our #endingtheharm campaign posters are hard-hitting, but they have been rigorously researched, developed, and tested. They are backed by independent academic research, Programme data and feedback from a wide range of specialist organisations and representatives. 1/2

Our new public awareness campaign shines a light on what is often referred to as 'hidden harms'; the often insidious ways that paramilitary gangs abuse, control and coerce vulnerable people for their own gains. Paramilitary gangs abuse and control. #Endingtheharm

You'll see our ‘Ending the Harm’ public awareness campaign going live again this week across Northern Ireland. The campaign highlights some of the ways that paramilitary gangs harm people and communities. It's time to call it out. #endingtheharm

This case study sees a community worker talking about the fear being felt in some communities. Approx. 70% of young people on our Programme believe paramilitaries are active in their area. We invest in projects that make a difference to those most affected by paramilitary harm.
Image with a quote from the 'Community Worker' film, which says: "This fear, that's always there- it's all some people have ever known. And paramilitaries aren't stupid. They know to look for these vulnerabilities and how to exploit them."

Last year we created 3 case study videos to show how paramilitary & criminal gangs exploit and control people & communities. The videos are a powerful insight into how some people are forced into a life of paramilitary crime & violence. #endingtheharm

Academic research, data and insight helps us to build a deeper understanding of harm so that we can develop better interventions for those who need it most. Great to catch up with @qubelfastofficial.bsky.social to discuss a number of ongoing research projects. #endingtheharm

Our Programme operates throughout NI. Projects vary in scale, focus, location, target group and methodology depending on an identified need. We're investing £16m in the next year to help stop another generation getting drawn into a spiral of violence, coercion and harm. 1/2
