Being a comics reader also factors in view of fans. One of your favorite creators in one era, can be someone you avoid work of in another. People lose it, people get it back. Runs hit, runs miss. People allow themselves to be influenced by others, in a way that shows inauthentic through their work.

And yes fan for me, is often used in deragatory. In the music scene there were friends and there were fans, and the dynamics were not the same. Not as a promoter, not as a long time friend of a lot of the guys, not as someone in a few bands. Fans tend to have a view that doesn't really see a person.

And that's not even the view of a everything sucks, and is terrible guy. I'm the Star Wars guy who can not like a handful of things, and not let it ruin my enjoyment of the whole franchise. Who enjoyed Mando and Grogu. I'm the comics guy, who likes and doesn't have an axe to grind with Supergirl.

Also yes that plays into my broader theory of how we all got in this mess. If you champion all the women making a show, and it's the first time you're letting them really run things. Then it clearly doesn't understand the show it's based on, and isn't any good. That doesn't have the intended effect.

Also yes I think the show runner that made Buster and Babs siblings in the Tiny Toons reboot, was sick in the head, and should have been immediately placed in inpatient treatment for even suggesting it.

Though, I share your disagreement with how platforms want to push short clips, not whole songs, or longer video content. That's also why I rarely if ever attach music to threads with their built in stuff, because I fight with what part to clip is the right part, or enough of the song, then say f it.

Also yes I was kinda infamous for just finding my own area wherever we were hanging out, claiming it, setting it up to sleep later, and be comfy to hang out in in the meantime, smoke circle, own booze and mixer, avoiding the main party for long stretches. Or 'holding court upstairs somewhere'.

And not just hitting on girls and stuff. Like I'm going to push my way into the room you set up in, pretend to be asleep, then bring up things you talked about with the girl you were talking to, because I like her and she should be with me not you. It was bizarre, aggressively vibe killing behavior.

That was part of pulling away from the later party scene. While there was still self-policing when obvious. The hanger ons around one of my friends, were creeps, also lame and annoying. Not to a criminal degree, but to the point people got turned off to hanging out there. They'd killed the energy.

When I got in front of a car and tried to fight these guys, because they implied they were gonna fuck with Connie in a hotel rather than take her home. Chad, Mark and the boys partying in the trailer, weren't like wtf cockblock man. They'd been ready to come out with whatever they had to back me up.
