Wasn't expecting to get teary eyed over Timothy Spall and a cute robot, can recommend 'This Time Away' sci-fi short film for A+ adorable robot design.

Max the robot is a battered cream colour, with cute eyes and a spherical aesthetic.

Thank you random lady on the street who stopped me to say my hair had made her whole day better 🩷

Me with bright pink hair, black glasses, purple eye shadow and light blue headphones. It's windy!

Picked up a beautiful edition of an alternative history/dystopic Scottish sci fi book from 1936, enjoying it immensely. Weirdly prescient of the war yet to come and a commentary on pacifism, nestled in a love poem to the Scottish countryside.

The British Library edition of 'Wild Harbour' by Ian MacPherson. The cover of the book is a peaceful loch and mountain in grey, with moors and a deer in brown.

Evil Under the Sun (1982) hired the most wonderful milliner, I'm in love!

A hat that's wide, made of black mesh, with a pointy red centre that turns into a turban below. Paired with a white dress and chunky black necklace. Fabulous!

A wide white and navy hat with a cheeky curve to the rim, decorated with giant white buttons. Paired with a navy blue and white polka dot dress, white pearl earrings, and a disgruntled look.

A small black number with curved black and white decorations. Paired with a tightly fitted zebra coat and a condescending glare at the lower class driver.

The fruits of my evening shift - testing out basket designs for the balloon/papier-mâché Easter eggs we're painting next week. My supervisor has requested a library 'that looks like the Easter Bunny has exploded in it' 😆

Somewhat wobbly Easter baskets made from pipe cleaners, in shades of white, pink, yellow, green and purple.

Trying a new tea today! Yuzu Tea from Korea, it comes in marmalade form!

An open jar of Yuzu tea, which looks like marmalade, next to a teacup with hot water and a spoonful of jam swirled in.

A jar with orange-y marmalade, labelled 'Yuzu Tea'.

without downloading new pics, where are you at mentally?

A cross stitch pattern in a hoop that reads 'WARNING This is proof I have the patience to stab something 1,000 times' with a pretty floral and skull pattern underneath.

There is no greater regret at the end of the academic year than a university student bringing back the sum total of all the library books they borrowed all at once.

I still see people complaining that we still don't have hoverboards à la Back to the Future but what I want to know is, where's my nail polish changing makeup pen from Total Recall?

Sci fi tech that uses a pen to instantly change nail varnish colour.
