so a couple of things.. - high E string is dead. no biggie, i can just buy new sets - the string spacing is uneven. heard that this is not uncommon for this brigde type, and it still plays well despite that, but it *does* bother me visually. will try compensated saddles when those arrive

saw a new NAM capture that used my EVH 5150 III Stealth LiveSPICE schematic files as a base for his modded Peavey 5150/6506 preamp circuit, so i had to take a few scuffed recordings to put it up to pace with my setup and it's awesome. takes low tunings really well doing short form videos suck lol

9mm parabellum bullet / termination always loved this guitar part, one of the first few riffs i've tried to learn. used to have difficulty muting the low E with my thumb when i was starting out and now it feels so satisfying to pull off

just learned about FX track controls in REAPER. this is very convenient for the fucked up FX chain template that I use for my (and others') NAM captures. no more opening up the FX window just to adjust plugin settings outside of the NAM loader
