Uhhh I've somehow ended up 3 for 3 with marathon submissions. I'll be running duck side of the moon on Saturday, and doing more slime rancher coop all gordos with @selcouthmind.bsky.social almost exactly 1 week before our flame run. I've got a lot to work on in August

The biggest thing after that is completing full runs. A lot of runs will have pretty standard reset points if you don't get good rng or whatever. If it's possible, do what you need to do to not reset and complete the full run. Otherwise you'll forget the second half by the time you get that good rng

That's mostly what I do too. I'll watch a segment of a tutorial (if one exists), do it, then watch another and do it and so on. After I complete it, I'll try to do a run by myself but be willing to pause and re-watch the tutorial for that part. Then just do that till you don't need the tutorial

I played so much pinball my hands hurt, got to go bouldering with some awesome fatales, ran a large archipelago sync, learned to pick locks, and continuing in my year of firsts, was in the GDQ credits!

Finally home from GDQ and damn what a week. GDQ is always an amazing time, but I met even more amazing people, got even more inspired to get involved with speedrunning, and did so many more new things than usual. Probably my favorite GDQ experience so far, and I'm so excited for the next one.

The year of firsts continues with my first marathon run! I'll be running All gordos again, but this time in co-op with @selcouthmind.bsky.social instead! On opening day too!

Layering a button-up over a tank top is always a good go-to for the looser look. Especially if you can find them in fun fabrics like silk, linen, seersucker, or something sheer if you're okay with arms showing. Especially if you get tank tops in similar fabrics too, mixing and matching them is great

It was, in fact, the opposite of good luck 🙃

Getting a PB right before my first hotfix run has to be good luck... right?

I know I for one won't be missing it

I'm gonna be on my first hotfix Saturday, running Slime Rancher All Gordos for the fatales GOTM showcase!

Yeah I was thinking about submitting a champions tournament too, but realized the same. Super down for an unofficial one though

Started trying my hand at routing a new speedgame from scratch with duck side of the moon tonight. How have I never done routing before? It's so much fun

Finally got back into VGC after sitting out Scvi cause I hated the teambuilding clunk. It feels so good to be back. I even hit master ball tonight!
