BANDCAMP FRIDAY! Former OCR judge @emunator.bsky.social has his first pro VGM score out for cyberpunk match-3 roguelike Torment Hexus! 🎮 Steam for the game (Early Access): store.steampowered.com/app/3238420/... 🎵 Bandcamp for the OST: emunator.bandcamp.com/album/tormen...

Discord message from Emunator:

Emunator: Been a while y'all! 💜 Wanted to pop in and share a small slice of what's been keeping me busy lately - my first game OST project is officially in the books! At least, the early access version of it anyway 🙂 https://emunator.bandcamp.com/album/torment-hexus-original-soundtrack (It's Bandcamp Friday so I get to keep 100% of any sales today too!)

I've got more stuff coming with Chimp/Flex under our Southwest Soundtrack Collective group in 2027, but this is the first time I've actually released any original music! I'm super proud of how it turned out - I went for a cyberpunk-fueled maximalist EDM palette with some live flute/violin in the mix.

Huge thanks to @zircon for the initial referral on this project 🙏 The game itself is incredible too! https://store.steampowered.com/app/3238420/Torment_Hexus/

Currently Playing: Torment Hexus. First off A+++ Music. Holy hell what an OST. Second: Vibes are incredible. Shadowrun by way of tactical breach wizards. Third: Damn this game is fun

A mashup of Aquatic Ambiance and Chrono Trigger's Secret of the Forest, with (big) help from @emunator.bsky.social! www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gVO...
